FOJs On The Web

Welcome to FOJ.ORG, the online home of the Friends of the Jessup. As you can see, we are putting the finishing touches on the FOJ website. The long-promised "FOJ Database" is just about ready to roll, and we have put a number of the "cool" features" behind a password. In order to get access to all features of the website, you'll need to register as an FOJ.

So what are the cool features? First, registered members will have full access to the FOJ Database, a repository of contact and other information on FOJs around the world. Second, registered members will have access to the FOJ Newsletter archives, which contain all the back issues of the official FOJ news publication. Third, registered FOJs will receive one year's subscription to the hard-copy version of the Newsletter. And finally, registered member will have access to the FOJ Chatboard, a web-based forum for discussion among the Friends of the Jessup.

So how do I register? There are two steps. First, you need to complete our online registration form. Second, you need to send us US$30 for a one-year membership. (Your membership fee goes to offset the cost of producing the FOJ Newsletter and this website.

What if I don't want to register? You can still access all of the archival information on the website. And we still urge you to enter your information in the online registration form (so we can keep track of you). But you won't have access to the members benefits.

What about privacy? ILSA doesn't sell or share its mailing list. Furthermore, as you'll see from the online registration form, you have the option of sharing or restriction any or all of your information with other registered FOJs. Finally, only registered members can access the online chatboard or your shared database information.

I'm a Jessup Competitor next year. Can I join? We'd love to have you -- AFTER you graduate. The FOJ resources and fora are reserved for Jessup alumni, judges and other volunteers who are no longer eligible to compete in the Jessup.
